Dietitian Services
"The power of nutrition is that the choice to heal and promote health can begin as soon as the next meal."
There is now so much nutrition information available through the web and social media. However, despite taking supplements, trying different diets and “superfoods”, many people are still struggling with weight or are experiencing various health issues that affect their quality of life.
The truth is, without professional guidance people are often not getting the right dietary advice or are applying them incorrectly.
Whether you are looking for a healthier, sustainable method to lose weight, resolve various health conditions or to simply seek nutritional guidance for better health, you have come to the right place.
At PULSE, we believe in the power of nutrition to transform your health. Rather than diets, our approach advocates healthy, sustainable eating to effectively reach your health goals.

What is Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT)?
Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) is an evidence-based approach to managing health and various conditions through personalised nutrition plans conducted by certified dietitians. MNT involves the assessment of an individual’s nutritional status, dietary habits, and health concerns to develop a tailored nutrition intervention.
For certain conditions where diet plays a significant role; such as digestive to kidney issues, diabetes, heart disease, food allergies to gastrointestinal disorders; it is common that they can be successfully managed solely through MNT and making dietary changes, eliminating the need for medication entirely.
What to Expect in a Dietetics Consultation
In a Medical Nutrition Therapy session with our dietitian, you will go through the following process:
- Assessment: A review of your medical background and presenting problem, as well as evaluate your eating patterns and nutrition profile
- Diagnosis: We will identify your key nutrition problems and explain how they are connected to the presenting problem.
- Solution: We will devise a personalised eating plan tailored to your condition, health goals, needs and lifestyle. You will also receive nutrition education and advice for your individual condition.
- Support: Personalised learning materials will be emailed to you post-session. One follow-up email is also included.
Rather than giving you a particular diet to follow, our dietitian will collaborate with you to create a healthy eating plan to effectively improve your condition or achieve your health goals. We will also ensure that the plan works for you and your lifestyle. From the sessions, you will also be empowered with the knowledge to make well-informed decisions for your diet and health through the future.
