Jia Xin is a Psychology graduate who is aspiring to become a clinical psychologist. She has previously worked as a research assistant and was involved in studies on Parkinson’s Disease and other Movement Disorders.

She is familiar with conducting neuropsychological testing and is keen to work with patients in need of psychological support for various mental health issues including anxiety, depression, and stress management, as well as physical health issues.

She is especially interested in health psychology— managing mental health problems such as depression and anxiety that could arise from chronic health issues. She believes that affordable and accessible mental healthcare should be made available to all who need it. She also hopes that with increasing outreach and greater awareness, having mental illness and seeking help for mental health can be increasingly destigmatised.
